I am artist working in a wide range of media, collaboratively and individually. The photographs you see here stem from several projects, several of them relating to economics, from gentrification to globalization. My technical approaches vary for different projects; hence the variety you see in my photostream I have a background not only in photography but also new media art (I was a founding member of the pioneering collective C5) and performance art.

I am a professor of photography and digital media at two universities in New York City, and have also taught media studies and contemporary art history. This work and its ensuing research is infused in my art practice, technologically, aesthetically and conceptually.
