I got into serious photography quite late on in my life. I had always wanted to take great portraits of my children when they were small but thought that one of the fancy 'real' cameras was a price too far for me with two growing up children. I got my first DSLR 8 years ago and have been plodding away ever since. When I look back at my Flickr stream it is pleasing to see how far my journey has taken me. I'd like to think I'm much better at taking photos now than back then
