Inside every artist is a muse who directs, inspires and encourages the creative process. For visionary artist, Jack Alexander, the paint, the canvas and the tools he uses are often his guiding force. From the time he was 3 years old, Alexander has expressed an uncanny artistic ability to move paint. A graduate in fine arts and design from Pepperdine University, he enjoys national and international acclaim for his extraordinary use of color, light, and movement.

Now living in Kealakekua, Hawaii, Alexander is the Shaman Elder at Muaisa Hale Pule ("As I Aum" Sanctuary) and travels nationally and internationally, painting commissioned murals, canvases and faux surface treatments for individuals, businesses and organizations. For 8 years, he worked as an artist, muralist and journeyman faux-finisher in Bali, Indonesia, where his clients included Cafe Lotus, Rioshi Japanese Restaurant and the Radisson Bali Hotel. His artistic finishes also grace the walls, trim, ceilings and fountains at the renown Paris Hotel-Casino, the Mirage Hotel-Casino and the Venetian Palazzo Hotel-Casino Resort, all in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Best described, Alexander’s faux-finishes and fine art canvases are a cutting-edge combination of contemporary realism, surrealism and visionary art images. His artworks adorn the homes of such recognizable celebrities as actor Dustin Hoffman and Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa along with numerous other diplomats and dignitaries worldwide.
