I have had an ‘on and off’ interest in photography since I was a kid. Most of my working life I’ve been involved in rural pursuits. I did have a stint as a helicopter pilot and was also a retailer for a few years. In more recent years I have discovered digital imagery, Photoshop in particular. I did a TAFE course in computers and IT and currently I work at a professional photo lab, Horsham Colour, in digital retouching, design and printing. So I get to ‘play’ with Photoshop all day long, which is to say, my hobby has become my profession :-))

I am pleased to write this testimonial for Andrew/Jack, who in my opinion is a world-class photographer, with the rare ability to capture an emotion or feeling in time as a still photographic image. Each one of his photos tell a story, and all have soft, inviting and welcoming 'Australian country feel' to them. Looking through his stream takes me back to my youth, when I would travel to a farm in Picton on a regular basis, for a holiday with my Grandfather. The animals and dogs, fresh country air, beautiful sunsets, and farm apparel. I always look forward to seeing newly posted photos, and Jack's stream will also be a favourite of mine!

If you truly knew me you would know that I do not give praise lightly.
