I am not a professional. But I am dedicated. I would like to think of myself as an artist and I work really hard to make beautiful photographs.

Since I don't rely on photography to put bread on the table, I shoot who I want, when I want, and I don't charge for my photography. That way it doesn't feel like a job and I can keep control. I am lucky enough to have a real paying job that allows me to indulge in my passion. I am free to not follow any photographic norms at all.

I keep trying to explore different types of photography but no matter what, I always end up making portraits. Of course with 2 daughters and 4 grand daughters my cup runneth over with models so that helps.

If I have faved your photo, then it stood out to me as an exceptional shot and I loved it, so keep up the good work. I fav photos that I want to go back to for inspiration.

Please share your thoughts and comments, they are really important to me. I know what I intend, but sometimes that is different from what is interpreted so comments help me become better at understanding what my work means to others.
