I picked up photography as a hobby around 2008 and try to improve as I get the chance. I got my first DSLR in 2016 and I've had a blast with it!

I enjoy the challenge of learning the finer points of photography - and my camera - and trying to continuously improve. One of my favorite parts of taking pictures is that it forces me to slow down and be more deliberate in experiencing different places - whether it's somewhere new that I might not have even thought of otherwise, or somewhere familiar that my camera allows me to see in a new way. Getting out with my camera is also extremely relaxing!

While I like shooting pretty much everything, I'm looking forward to doing more aviation and giving motorsports and concert photography a shot in the future.

Outside of photography, I enjoy college football, baseball (depending on the year...thanks Tigers), collecting records, and going to concerts. And beer, thanks to Michigan's craft beer scene!
