Once and for all: nothing in my photos is 'edited'. All my photos are taken with analogue cameras on film. I will develop my photos (or get them developed when short of time) and scan them in. Occasionally, I may straighten or crop the photos after the scan in a very basic editing program (iPhoto) but

- if the colours 'work well' that's because I had good light,

- if my photos are b/w that's because they've been taken on an Ilford ISO-400 film and have been processed in an C-41 procedure,

- if my photos seem layered that's because I've double exposed them, and

- if the colours are 'weird' that's because I've let light leak in or because I used expired film!

What I like about photography is catching those little golden moments of atmosphere, of intimacy, of love, of light, and of life. And I love how amazingly my Minolta X-500 catches all these things. Every now and again I may be using a Polaroid 600 or a Lomo Diana F, anyway.

Thank you for looking at my photos: I hope you liked what you saw. xx
