Freelance Qt and Python/C++ developer, primarily interested in HCI and UI design. I work primarily in Python, but maintain fluency in C++.

As of this writing (10/2010), I've been developing numerous convenience widgets to assist in creating clean, simple and well-designed Settings/Preferences dialogs for applications. It's my goal to expand the Qt widget library to include more involved widgets for changing font settings, keyboard shortcuts, etc--essentially items every developer has to craft themselves for their own applications.

I'm very interested in replacing modal dialogs with non-modal alternatives, such as drawers and notification tooltips.
