I've been interested in photography since I was in high school. i.e.(long ago, like the '70's) I like to get out to the wild as often as possible. I'm a birdwatcher and a student of nature. When you look at my photos, my hope is to evoke a dormant or unexpected emotion... perhaps a deja-vu of sorts. If you get that feeling, please comment and/or fav my picture.
Digital photography has been the greatest invention ever. I can't wait to get out for the next opportunity that awaits me. I started out with a Nikon D90 with 16-85mm, 70-300mm, then another D90. Added a 80-400mm, 105 macro, and now a 10-24mm ultrawide Nikon lens. As of November 2015 I picked up a new D810. Learning what it can do is a new journey. Then I had to fiddle a bit, so now one of the D90's shoots infrared. Feel free to drop me a line if you like my pictures. Traded in some stuff and bought a D500 in 2017. I'm not sure I am a good enough photographer to use these two awesome cameras to their full advantage, but I'm going to give it a good try.
Cheers, and happy snapping,
Jeff Brough
