I’m an easy-going guy in all aspects; it’s very difficult for me to get upset with something or someone. But that doesn’t mean I’m not intense: I’m very passionate about everything I’m involved with at the moment, be it someone or a subject.

I’m also a very domestic person, love to be home surrounded by my books, films, magazines, music accompanied by my laptop, my notebook and a teapot (filled with Earl Gray with milk, chai or fancy green tea; it depends on how close to bedtime I am). Have great fun when I go out, but, sometimes, friends complain that it’s quite difficult to get me out… ;-)

Love to travel to – the same – big cities which combine haute cuisine (sweets and pâtisserie included), charming or luxurious hotels, interesting cultural life, stores, friends and daily flights back home available (in case of sudden and unbearable homesickness). The exotic destinations, with strange food and with no Panna, Voss or Evian, I leave them to my sister and brother-in-law, and to the friends who travel and relate everything when they’re back… ;-)

Besides the love for reading, I enjoy a lot the practice of sports or simply going to the gym. I always joke saying that my ideal life would be to live as the ancient greeks: taking care only of the intellect and the body (without the slavery thing, of course)…

As for the rest, I have a wonderful family, which has just received the first member of the family’s next generation! :-)
