I'm a paleoanthropologist, currently doing research in Germany. Ivi Tagata (pronounced Tangata) means "Human Bone" in Samoan. It is the name given to me in 2000 by Senator Faiivae Galeai of Tutuila, American Samoa, which makes me a quasi adopted member of his clan. All of this because I made lots of coffee for him during our research trip in the island of Rurutu.
