I work in the Missions Department of the Christian Medical College at Vellore, Tamil Nadu at present. For nearly 30 years, I worked as a pediatric surgeon in a remote rural Christian mission hospital (Makunda Christian Leprosy & General Hospital) in the state of Assam, near the Mizoram and Tripura borders, with my wife, Ann, who is an anesthesiologist. I am a keen amateur photographer, especially interested in birds and flowers and insects as well as people and medical phtotography. I presently use Nikon D800 and D500 bodies and have an assortment of lenses - including a Micro-Nikkor 105mm/f2.8 and a Nikkor 200-500mm VR.
