Hello! I'm Ivan, born and raised in Croatia. My passion for photography was ignited in late 2009 when I tried for the first time my brother's point-and-shoot camera.

 

Growing up in the early 2000s, I was surrounded by punk/rock and skateboarding culture. This culture exposed me to a unique aesthetic that I wanted to capture on film. My brother's camera was one of the tools that helped me learn the basics of photography.

 

After a few years of shooting digitally, I made the full switch to analog. I love the process of shooting film, and I'm always striving to create photographs that are both technically and creatively satisfying. Some of my photography inspirations include Gregory Crewdson, Jason Lee, Ray Barbee, Stephen Shore, Ed Templeton, Ansel Adams, Joel Sternfeld, and many others.

 

I'm excited to share my journey with you on Flickr. I hope you enjoy my photographs.
