My first SLR was a birthday gift from my hubby in 2011, a Nikon D3000 with a kit 18 X 55mm lens. With the help of a friend, Ann (fastapp69), I've been learning how to use it stepping out of my comfort zones learning and seeing more of the area then I have in years. I've since upgraded to a Nikon D3200, added a few lenses a 55 X 200mm, an 18-105mm (wich i really love) and a few older manual lenses and am really having fun with it. Of course the more I learn the more accessories I want LOL. I can't imagine how I survived before camera. It is always by my side. : )

I've met a bunch of great people and fantastic photographers here in flickr. And love to browse through your photo's and see the world through your eye.
