Niels is not only a great and wonderful person, but an amazing photographer too. Getting to know him and his photography has been an absolute joy, and I'm consistently amazed and impressed with the images he creates. He sees the world through eyes that find beauty, simplicity, and symmetry in all everyday objects, where most people wouldn't notice. It really shows through his photography that he has amazing patience and discipline to get a unique yet perfect shot in every situation. It doesn't matter what the subject is -- people, objects, buildings -- if Niels takes a photo of it, it will reveal a side that you wouldn't ordinarily see.
