Living in Downtown Colorado Springs with an amazing view right outside the front door, have our own little backyard where the dogs can be easily let out to potty. This location in South Downtown Colorado Springs is truly perfect. We have a nice place now which we both like very much. We're still struggling to get by in general, but it's amazing knowing the huge improvement from where I was a year ago. I'm still struggling quite a bit, & it can feel like I'm not making progress at all due to the extremely slow, but steady (with a LOT of bumps) improvement, however with how hard I & we have been trying to make it, it definitely feels like we should be doing so, so, so much better. It's frustrating AF. I'm accepting donations. via PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Facebook Messenger, & many other ways we can work that out by simply messaging me on my Facebook page at:

If you've been there before, or if you feel compelled to, or interested in offering us help getting back on our feet, we would very greatly appreciate it. We were homeless for about 5-6 months when we first moved here to 'The Springs'... we have struggled and experienced overwhelmingly difficult obstacles. i.e. 'qualifying' for State benefits here in Colorado was no problem, but once we finally got a place to live here, therefore we had to update our contact information for everyone including with the Dept of Health & Human Services (DHHS), including updating expenses, which I updated in person after waiting two hours in their loud lobby. Long Story a little shorter is that I still haven't been able to get in touch with the correct dept (SNAP) to update my food stamps because they should have increased a LOT now that I have documented monthly expenses like rent & bills, medical issues, I have been on hold with SNAP for 2hr:45min at LEAST THRICE only to have the representative either pick up the phone only to disconnect you, or you don't even get to hear them finish their first sentence only to be disconnected, OR we get disconnected a little bit after they answer and they don't even call me back! I've also had the system give me the option to be called back. I have tried using this option as well, but it has NEVER called me back. I've tried as soon as they open, hoping I'd be called back that day, but no. I have tried that countless times & it's never called me back. I'm so frustrated and don't know what to do because now I've used up all my minutes trying to call the stupid DHHS & wasting minutes on being on hold for multiple hours only to never speak to someone. There's a lot more going on like being able to get to my doctors appointments, remembering them, medication, managing my medications, managing my appointments & important dates I need to have things completed by, such as deadlines to complete & return D.H.H.S. re-certifications. I really need a printer to manage all of this, but I don't have one of those either. Any help would be appreciated more than you may possibly know.
