16 students from across the United States attended the first ever International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) Delegation on Business in India. These students traveled through Delhi, Agra, Amritsar, and Mumbai in the latter half of May 2008.
The program was designed to "examine India’s role in the global marketplace and shape the scholars' own future goals in business".
The students met leaders and businesspeople from various industries including education, manufacturing, outsourcing, consumer goods, and infrastructure development. (see the Schedule of Activities)
