In 2003, Ironworks was founded in Silver Lake, California as an artist-driven environment to create music. “We would invite musicians that we liked down to start recording and get creative,” recalls producer/owner Jude Cole. For the next six years, Ironworks Studio was home of Ironworks Music, the record label founded shortly after the studio opened its doors. Catering to friends and musicians on the label, the studio served as a home for the Ironworks family.

In the summer of 2009, Ironworks moved to the historic and newly renovated Can-Am Studio A, publically opening its doors and providing a place for new friends to call home.
