I live in Central PA but am a world traveler. I'm a hands-on, experiential learner so I do rather than read. By day I crunch numbers so that by night & weekend I can feed my creative passions.

Speaking of those creative passions, I've got many. I already mentioned travel & exploring. I've also gotten into blogging, writing and photography in the past year. My hands on passions are cross-stitch, cooking, beaded jewelry, rubber stamping and gardening.

I'm still newly married (about a year) and was blessed with marrying a guy with a "man-cave" house. It was a bachelor pad for nearly 10 years and nothing (literally nothing) was updated or maintained.

So, my ongoing project is to update the house inside and out and prepare it for sale. The goal is to sell in the next 2 years. It's a difficult balance ensuring that everything we do doesn't cost too much, isn't too personal yet personal enough in case we have to stay here a little longer. Oh and there's that little thing called a recession that impacts us.

My dream house is small and cozy. I don't want a big place because that requires cleaning and I'd rather be crafting. I love farm, bungalow and cottage style homes. I wish for a screened in porch in the back, a big front porch with a swing, natural lighting, my own craft room and lots of good soil to garden. Someday...

I have a big, furry supervisor named Maggie. She's a cat in case you hadn't already figured that out. You'll get to see lots of pictures of her because where ever I am, she is too. She's my best little bud!
