I'm not a "serious" photographer but an amateur having serious fun taking pictures. I have a point and shoot Canon PowerShot A495.

My favourite photographic opportunities are after a rainfall. I like macro photography. I've enjoyed seeing what I can capture within a three block radius of where I live. I still haven't run out of subject matter! Occasionally, I go farther afield, six blocks or so :) to the community garden, a plethora of flora. It's all about seeing the opportunities and having fun.

I've been on flickr for over two months now and one thing has dismayed me: how few people make comments even though I regularly comment on their captures. This is a sharing website but many don't share. Come on, get with the spirit.
