I’m a young, accomplished photographer making my way into the photography world. My work has been published in a local magazine numerous times and multiple advertising publications. I’ve worked directly with the Senior Art Director of Fort Wayne Magazine to complete many projects throughout 2016 and 2017. I also Freelance for Fort Wayne Magazine multiple times each month; taking photos at Events in and around Fort Wayne. I’m an animal lover and you’ll find me most Friday’s volunteering and taking pictures at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control.

Photography is not just a hobby or a career choice, it’s a passion and a huge creative outlet in which I can release my inner artist by capturing that spectacular sunset or that perfect moment, manipulate the image if I please, and share it with world. Over the years I’ve delved into the many different worlds of photography: people, pets, weddings, landscape, architecture, retail & commercial, and a little bit of real estate. I’m always looking for new experiences and opportunities to learn from.

My absolute favorite things to photograph are old barns and the treasures that can be discovered inside them. Over the past few years I’ve fallen in love with the historic barns in the area. I’ve always been fascinated with barns but have never truly appreciated the history and craftsmanship in each and every barn until I had the opportunity to enter a few to shoot the interior. I was hooked after my first. Only then did I see how unique and truly beautiful each one of these barns really is. Each time, I find myself imagining the barns over a century ago when they were brand new and full of barn animals, farmers & farmhands, and equipment. Sadly, most of the barns I’ve shot are for sale and to be torn down for the wood and timbers. Although there are many historic barns still standing, they’re disappearing quickly because the cost of maintaining them or restoring them is just too much. I like to think that, by photographing these old barns, I’m somehow preserving their history before they’re torn down and erased forever.
