I am married to a wonderful and supportive husband and family.

I am proud to be a wife, mother and grand-mother as well as an individual and self-made woman!

I am an Artist mainly doing Landscapes.although my main subject is the light and my feeling towards the wonderful things around us, especially the sights and sounds, textures and tones provided by nature.

I enjoy working in many different media, but my favourites would be oil, pastel and printmaking [ie: etching/drypoint and mezzotint] as well as my love of working in charcoal, and producing works of art in monochrome.

I believe that my background of textile design [at art college] and photography as well as my tastes in theatre and music, all contribute to my love of dramatic lighting, atmosphere, texture and movement in my art. I feel that I am on a constant journey of self-discovery and that this is what spurs me on to being creative.
