Ioan is a (very busy!) University Professor in quality, dependability (reliability, maintainability, safety & security) and electronic technology at the most important technical university in Romania and a technical journalist (member of the National Union of Professional Journalists from Romania), Editor-in-Chief / Editor of several national & international journals in the field, including “Quality Assurance”, “Calitatea”, “Quality Engineering” a.o.

Among Ioan’s hobbies we can mention: artistic photography (he obtained several prizes during the time, but unfortunately, the time for this activity is very, very limited!), film, computer graphics and travelling (esp. to artistic and historic destinations).
