Photography is the leisure love of my life. I take a mix of photographs mainly connected to flight, with a predominance of wildlife. Although I am no bird spotter, birds are fascinating in so many different ways, yet can be equally frustrating by their total unpredictability. In contrast, aircraft can make for good material; however, as they are both easy and predictable, the challenge is to secure a unique image that no one else is capturing; a different perspective.

In recent times I have started photoshoots with children, out to prove that the old saying of "Never work with children or animals", is so far from helpful advice, in that my best images have come from both subject areas.
