~ official(ish) intrepid pigeon studio bio ~

 

It's more difficult working in a studio occupied by a pigeon than one would think.

 

Working with sketch, paint, clay, wood, photography, stop-motion and anything else on hand to create miniaturized worlds.

 

e. ipolani is a native of Los Angeles with no formal training in the arts, but a plethora of informal experience. She credits pursuing being an artist to a fascination with animals/nature and growing up on a steady diet of Sesame Street, Jim Henson, classic films, trips to museums, old cartoons and many, many books.

 

Henry lives in and prevents work from taking place at the studio. She hatched from an egg, fell off a roof and is epic.

 

e. has since relocated to a smaller, less bird occupied workspace.
