I’m originally a native of Southern California and now live in Japan working as commercial and editorial photographer. I have received a number of awards and acclaim for my photos, along with having numerous photography exhibitions and photo books. My lifetime project is called Oyako, which means parents and children in Japanese. In 2003, I took this series one step further and created a social action called “Oyako Day” dedicated to reaffirming the parent and child bond.
