Interact District 5170 is the world's largest and most recognized Interact district with over 90 clubs and 5,000 members in and around the San Jose Silicon Valley Metropolitan Area, California, USA. Interact 5170 is dedicated to serving both the local and international communities through volunteering and fundraising. In 2009-10, Interact 5170 contributed more than 50,000 hours of community service and raised $75,000 for END POLIO NOW. In 2010-11, Interact 5170 raised over $100,000 for ShelterBox. Rotary International has invited Interact 5170 to conduct the official Interact Workshop at the past 5 Rotary International Conventions.
