InSitu Photography

Headed by photographer Bob Andrews, InSitu focuses on “In Situation” images to capture the fleeting essence of emotions and critical movement of the specific moment.

Images are rarely staged. Mr. Andrews’ background as a photojournalist allows him to see fleeting moments of life’s existence with great clarity. Images are routinely cropped tightly to focus the attention on the intensity of the moment or situation.

Shooting with Nikon digital equipment, Andrews has been published in national and local newspapers and magazines. He is well traveled around the globe, but always concentrates his image capture on human interest situations.

As a practicing Zen Buddhist, he blends Eastern form and detachment into the complex Western lifestyles. He encourages people to ‘handle’ his work; not just view it. It is his belief that you need to touch ‘the grain’ of life. So should it be in his photography.
