I'm an English man living in the Netherlands, where I work on a farm as a guide for people who need some assistance in their lives.
Since summer 2006 I've enjoyed photography as a hobby. I began using a simple compact Olympus digital camera, and have moved up to a Nikon D40 kit until 2014 when I bought a Nikon D90 with an 18-135 lens and a Sigma 70mm f/2.8 macro
.
I enjoy photography a great deal. To me it is about being in the living 'now', the moment which I make extra special because of the value I invest in it.
Often I feel a great sense of awe and appreciation for all things that can be seen (and sensed) in the world, and I can't help but wonder that if I do, then maybe you do too.
I've learnt that it's the meaning or significance that we choose to give to a moment that makes it important or not. I hope that my sentiments and values can be seen in my photography.
