Innocent ISHIMWE was born in 1996 Kigali,Rwanda. During his childhood he developed a strong fascination for nature and wildlife. When he bought his first camera at the age of 18, he became as passionate about photography.

At the age of 20, Innocent first set foot into a travel to Bugesera (Lake Cyohoha) : “it was a sunny season and the lake was bursting with life. It was hot, humid, noisy birds and completely exhilarating, but most exciting of all was the view and the sunset. I was immediately hooked. There and then, I made up my mind to explore Nature firstly throughout my Country”. And so he did. Since that first expedition,he traveled the half country (176 sectors) on a motorcycle where he has explored Lakes,rainforests,macro world,cities and High Volcanoes.

His initial dream was to Discover and Showcase the profound effect upon our senses on wonders of Rwanda at the age of 22, Innocent started to publish his photographs in numerous magazines,News Websites and VisitRwanda the top selling Tourism project. A formerly intensive hobby gradually developed into a thriving career as a Traveler and Nature Photographer.

Beside his work as a photographer he also Founded IMAGE RWANDA as an Upcoming first Photo Stock agency and Visual Content Provider in Rwanda which aims at :

-providing assistance to Visual Artists Mentally,Technically and Financially

-Storytelling Rwanda’s Stories by Rwandans and

-supplying Photographs and Visual arts in Rwanda and worldwide.
