When I was a young fella I set out from home in the UK to wander about a bit. Stayed in Western Australia for a while to build up the bank balance. Fell in love with the bush and then with the beautiful girl who married me. Fourty years later our four children have grown up and left home and we are enjoying being just the two of us again.

We have been following Jesus since our early 20s. And we are part of a genuine and caring Christian church which we really enjoy.

My camera is the Olympus C-55 ZOOM and I have Adobe Photoshop.

I joined flickr for two reasons.

1. It's a great way to share photos with my English rellies who I want to stay in touch with since holidaying there recently.

2. I am learning (just a beginner) to photograph our stunning West Australian wild flowers. Flickr is the obvious place to build up a gallery. And the fantastic work others have posted here is so inspiring.

I also like photographing odd things for their humorous or querky value.
