About ingridesign;

Ingrid started her studies in Stavanger, and finished two years of graphic design at NKS (Norsk Kreativ Fagskole / Norwegian Creative School) in 2017.

– But there were no opportunities regarding taking a bachelor in this field in Stavanger. If I wanted to stay in Norway the alternative would be the Art Academy (Kunstskolen), but they educate artists and I wanted to be a graphic designer. That’s why i had to go abroad. At the same time I really wanted to travel, and felt that I needed more time to find and develop my own style, so it felt natural to study more.

After finishing a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communications at The University of Wolverhampton & a Master in Graphic Arts & Design at Leeds Metropolitan University Ingrid decided to move to London in 2009 to continue her design journey. She started a 4 month internship at Proud Camden where she got a lot of experience in the busy design world creating promotional material such as posters, flyers and menus. After the internship ended she got a job as a graphic designer at (heart) productions, a fully integrated live communications & experiential agency in London. Over a period of 4 years she worked on a variety of projects and events.

Now Ingrid lives in Milan, Italy and has started working as a freelance graphic designer. She also runs her Scandinavian interior, design & lifestyle blog www.thatscandinavianfeeling.com and spends her spare time creating products for her online shop.
