I'm disabled - at one point I almost let myself become my disability. Almost. But something saved me. That something was a little Cardigan Corgi named Indy. He's my service dog. You could say my world revolves around him and his around me. We live for one another; practically attached at the hip. I'd be aimlessly wandering in a sea of self consciousness, so afraid of being judged and stared at because I'm different; disabled.
My Sweet Indy
I have binaural hearing loss and wear hearing aids. I lost my hearing as an infant due to meningococcal meningitis and I have a notch sitting right at 2000Hz. I like for my hearing aids to be colorful and have as much character personality as I do.
