I've been into photography since a child, thanks to my Dad. One of my proudest moments was taking Grand Champion in Photography at the County Fair at 13 years old. My dream job would be to travel the world taking pictures. But since that did not happen, it's only a hobby. Landscapes and animals are my favorite subjects. My dream camera, at this time is the Pentax K10D DSLR since it would also use all of my current SLR lenses, but for now, considering the pricetag, it will remain my dream.

Update to profile: I did get the K10D and have been using it for about a year now. I still don't have the time to spend on photography that I would like (my "day job" and "life" keep getting in the way). In the meantime, I'll keep clicking and learning.

As of December 2008, I have added the k20d and several more lens to my arsenal. I also saw a profile with a map of states visited hightlighted so I thought I would add one to mine. My goal is to hit all 50 states before I die. I had 40 of the 50 and 5 provinces in Canada by the time I was 19 and have added 5 states in the US and 3 states in Mexico since.

Summer 2010 Update - I have not taken as many photos in the last year as I would have liked to but it has been full steam ahead on building our garage/photography studio. Look in my set "Garage Construction" for progress photos. This is even a little behind as we are sanding drywall in the studio as I type and hope to be finished by Labor Day.

I hope to retire in a few years and use my photography as a supplimental income. Wish me luck!
