I am an abstract and minimalist photographer, based in the U.K. My interest in photography as art grew out of receiving a camera for my 26th birthday. From there I developed my interest in abstract art by visiting galleries, including Tate Modern.

My photography has been described as quirky, surrealist, weird, and experimental. The variety of techniques I use, and my keen eye for the unusual, have created an engaging array of photographs.

Nobody who looks at this photostream is fooled by the word FOOL in the witty oxymoron that is 'Incisive Fool'. Brilliant landscape shots and highly selective and eye-catching abstract uploads that scream 'experiment', and a personal journey in photography. For some reason, the not-Fool's predilection in abstract shooting and shots veers towards, but not exclusively so, towards the diagonal, no doubt based on a personal graphic and design-informed liking for the subtly dramatic and against the mundano-conventional. I hope the un-Fool doesn't mind me writing this testimonial and the words within because I was Flickr-born in 2008 with our protagonist following soon after, it seems, in 2009. We have ever since been diving in and out of each other's photography consciousness through our shared (I think) appreciation of glowy areas of light in our shots, especially the abstract ones. Thank you for your output through the past 10 years, of which there is a lot to admire and even wonder about. jamelikat, oxford, england, 11 mar 2019
