I am in love with the natural world and always have an emotional response to what I see. I often think "this may never look exactly the same way again-with this kind of weather or in this color of light". I feel privileged to witness it and wanting to share those experiences with others motivates my experimentation with photography. I rarely edit my photos; believing that nature's sense of beauty cannot be improved upon.

On rare occasions, (such as in my Flickr Studio Collection) I will apply special effects to help convey what I saw with my heart, not my eyes.
