IMSS is a completely new and unique registered student organization at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign that provides all uninsured and low-income individuals of Champaign County with free medical screening for Diabetes, Hypertension, and Hyperlipidemia. Screening events are established an and operated by undergraduate pre-health majors, funded by Provena Covenant Medical Center, and supervised by local physicians and nurses. Free screening tests include: Hemoglobin A1c, Fasting Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, and a full Lipid Profile.
