I Am Shipwrecked is the gallery of handmade collages by Raúl Gil, an art historian and collage maker living in Madrid.

Empecé a trabajar en el collage allá por 2008, inspirado por todo aquello que me gustaba o que alguna vez aprendí: los orígenes británicos del Pop Art, el Surrealismo, Max Ernst, los comics y la ciencia-ficción.

I started making this collage work back in 2008, inspired by all that I ever liked or learned: the early british Pop Art, Surrealism, Max Ernst, comic-books and science-fiction.
