The Innovative Manufacturing Research Centre at Cranfield University, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, was a research programme that operated for 10 years from 2002 to 2011.

In projects spanning a wide range of manufacturing, engineering, scientific and business issues, the Cranfield IMRC made material contributions to practical knowledge, brought together companies, academics and government bodies, and developed innovative products and processes to the benefit of its partners and of industry in general.
