I am an amateur photo enthusiast that has explored Canon EOS 300d and 400d, Panasonic FX35 and now moved to Nikon D3100 for a change.

I believe the quality in DSLRs are a big plus but their portability and associated costs (mostly lens) tend to limit my photographic adventures. I tried the Panasonic FZ35 for the zoom lens but just couldn't get myself to adjust to something below the DSLR level in quality.

Interestingly, I am now a Nikon user (bought one in Jan 2011) to see how Nikons differ from Canons. Lets see how this journey progresses.
