I met Steph away from flickr, and before I got one myself, she would send me the links to her newest upload, and I would sit there going "Wow! Her photography is amazing!" Since getting a flickr myself (which Steph 'persuaded' me to get), my view of her photos has definitely not changed. I get excited when I see a new upload from her, and am still always in awe of her photographs. I love every single one of her photos, and her stop-motion "The Butterfly" (which got Explored! I am so proud of her :D) is so beautiful, I find myself going back to watch it over and over. Just wow! And the fact that she got Explored 5 times in one week - I wish she would see that her photos are amazing, and that she'd believe in herself the way everyone else believes in her :) Her "Dirty Little Secret" project actually moved me to tears. Those photographs were powerful, and so real. Steph is one of my closest friends. She's a very beautiful person - inside and out - and isn't afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right. Whenever you need her, she is there for you - even to the point of being able to text her at 3am if need be! She's an awesome person, and I am so glad that I have her as a friend :)

I am so excited to be the first to leave Steph a testimonial. I only recently reached out and spoke to her personally, but I have been following her work for a few months now. Truthfully, I see so much talent and potential in her... and my favorite thing about her is that she doesn't see how beautiful she is or how great her photographs are. She is humble to the extreme. She is raw, and real, and honest about it. It is such a comfort to me and I can relate to it so much. Steph has been a wonderful contact and so supportive of me when I needed it most... I hope to return the favor somehow. I want to PUSH her to keep shooting film, especially... not everyone can create such beautiful work with film - hers is an inspiration to me. I also love her self-portraits and her more emotional work. Some of her photos are so meaningful and I hope that she is recognized for these amazing things she has to say.
