Imagine is the culmination of three years hard work and study in the field of Interactive Media at the University of Wales Newport.

The first Imagine exhibition occured at the Riverfront Gallery Newport, South Wales from the 7th-8th May 2010.

A second showing of the work is currently underway at the University of Wales, Newport's Graduate Show, hopefully our little taste of the projects here will entice you to come and experience an exciting range of interactive new media and hope that you will enjoy our show as much as we have enjoyed creating it. The show is running from NOW (5th June 2010) to the 11th June on the Caerleon Campus of Newport University. Opening hours are 10am to 6pm on all days except Sunday when the show closes at 4pm.

We have explored a wide range of media, from the more traditional forms including digital video, audio, animation and web design, through to contemporary and emerging forms like mobile media content, social networking, interactive art, immersive gaming, and interactive installations.

Imagine is as diverse and exciting as the designers themselves, and promises to be an imaginative display of work. As artists and designers we have examined the psychological, sociological, economic and environmental issues in relation to the field of Interactive Media. Our exhibits are backed up with relevant cultural and theoretical study and a deep understanding of what 'interaction' really means in today’s increasingly multimedia world.
