Self-taught advanced amateur photgrapher. Also a licensed private pilot, certified scuba diver, and avid traveler.

I have been to China, Cuba, Egypt, England, Jamaica, Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, and The Dominican Republic.

I shoot with a wide range of equipment, including a Nikon D1x, Minolta Maxxum models 5D,7D, 5000,9000, and 5QD, Canon AE-1, Pentax K1000, Holga medium format, and my "flagship" (or the most expensive camera I can afford), the Sony Alpha A700.

I shoot a combination of digital and film, using Fujicolor 400 and Velvia 50 for color film work and Ilford Delta 400, 3200, Tri-X 400, and Tmax 400 and 3200 B&W, which I develop myself at home in a spiral tank and then scan the negatives.

Most of my shots are digital, done with the A700, but I am starting to use my Maxxum 5D more as it is a great infrared camera.
