Retired telecoms manager. Always loved photography, had a B/W darkroom for a while but cost of materials eventually overtook the enthusiasm and I sold the equipment at a jumble sale. I watched the rise of the digital camera with growing interest and noted that new PCs were sporting free cameras and printers to encourage likely punters. I bought one of these package deals and have been a happy snapper ever since. I discovered flickr via the bbc.co.uk / britain website. There'll be no stopping me now!
