Crafty geek with a soft spot for technology. I've been known to unravel thrift store sweaters and re-wind the resulting yarn with a hand mixer to make OOAK skeins.

On a huge foodie bender these days where I am learning canning, dehydrating, and other forms of food preservation. Trying out making my own snacks and meals instead of buying ready made stuff. Ice cream, crackers, bread, etc. Planted one hell of a vegetable and herb container garden, too.

Continually playing with crafty stuff, too. Frankenstein jewelry (disassemble and re-assemble in new combinations) and bottle cap magnets are my current projects.
