I had a Pentax SLR years ago, but didn't do anything with it for years. A couple of years ago I took the plunge and bought a Sony A350 DSLR and am now throwing myself into things as an amateur hobbiest who wants to learn as much as they can and improve my skills. Maybe some day I could do it as more than a hobby, but for now I am on the technical learning and creativity curve.
