Social media:
Mastodon - General socializing. Mostly RPGs and other nerdery.
Pixelfed - My more snapshotty, day-to-day photos.
I've been a Flickr member since 2005, but deleted my old account when I took a break from photography for several years.
If your feed is mostly game screenshots, second life, or AI generated/enhanced stuff, I am not interested, and I will block base solely on that. I'm interested in photography, done with an actual camera. Sure, the occasional phone pics are fine, I'm interested in day to day life stuff as well.
I dabble in all kinds of different genres: landscape, nature, people, fine art, nudes, toys... whatever looks like it might be fun at the time. I also post the occasional mobile phone snapshot. Aside from constantly turning the camera on my partner, I don't do much people photography anymore.
My partner will always be my favorite subject, and you'll see a bit of her here. You can find her Flickr page at www.flickr.com/photos/198894555@N03/.
Shooting with fairly old, low cost gear. A Nikon D7500, and two Nikon D3100s.
I use entirely open source software for processing and workflow. GIMP, Digikam, Gwenview and Darktable, running on Debian Linux. However, I’m very much a minimalist when it comes to post-processing. I do minor adjustments to exposure and white balance, but I do my best to get the rest when I push the shutter switch.
My photography does slow down during the colder months, and pick up again in the spring. It's become the ebb and flow of the hobby for me.
