My interests are varied; travel and nature have always come top of the list and I consider myself to have been very fortunate to have travelled to many interesting places in our wonderful world. The camera has allowed me to capture some of the places and encounters which I share with you here.

My photographic education started when I retired. I went to night school where I obtained my Level 1 and Level 2 Certificate at NCFE. I was awarded the Royal Photographic Society Licentiate Distinction (LRPS) in 2013 where my work was assessed. It had to show variety in approach and techniques. I went on to qualify for the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain’s Award for Photographic Merit at Credit Level (CPAGB) in 2017. These images are to be found in my Albums.

Since taking up photography there are many types of photographic genres I will pursue and I acknowledge I learn and re-learn something new as each season progresses. I enjoy the whole process from planning, making, editing to printing and mounting my images. I also enjoy making AVs – slideshows to music and more recently photobooks.

I'm always very grateful to receive your views and I welcome constructive comments on my photos not just positive ones. I think sometimes we are all a bit too positive. If you do visit regularly I hope that you enjoy them and maybe they will inspire you to try something similar too.

If I see you follow me I will always review your Photostream and Profile. I will often reciprocate if I can see we have a connection be it your type of photography, your likes or interests and especially if you live locally to me. If you do not make your images public and available for me to see I will most likely block you. I will also block you if it is apparent that your own Photostream or favourites contain porn or other images I or my friends might find distasteful.
