Thanks for stopping by my photostream. Here is a bit about me:

I have been doing some "casual" picture taking with a point & shoot for the past few years. Mostly I've taken landscape shots while out hiking and on vacation for the purpose of showing family and friends where I've been. It wasn't until earlier this year that I started to become more interested in photography. Before, taking pictures was a fun sidetrack from the main activity. Now it's the main reason I take trips.

Recently, I got a DSLR and have been working on learning how to use the camera and taking better pictures as well. Eventually I want to be able to shoot the kind of pictures found below ("ikonoki's favorite photos from other Flickr members") and possibly even print a few up to sell. For now I'm just going to keep working on my technique and trying to improve as a photographer.
