I am a mother, a business woman, a lover of all things vintage, a sister, a best friend, and an all around busy gal. I am the sole owner of Girly Chic Boutique ...a creative outlet for my shopping addiction, my need to decorate things not nailed down (and often things that are), and my obsession with pastels and old chippy pink things. I split my day between Girly Chic and my other business, The Flying Cupcake Bakery….a fantasy land of delicious cupcake finery. I work 60 hours a week but rarely mind. The rest of the time is spent with the true loves of my life, my family: Keegan, Henry, Naomi and Cameron.

My kids are the best part of my day…every day. They are smarty, funny, witty, and all around great companions. Best of all, they can all hold their own in any Shabby Chic related conversation.

Then there is the sweet love of my life, Cameron (or as the kids call him “The Big Ragoo”). He is loving, supportive, and easy on the eyes. He makes me laugh at least five times every day as he happens to be the funniest person I know. He, too, will talk about Shabby Chic with me for minutes at a stretch but often confuses Rachel Ray with Rachel Ashwell just to annoy me.

Oh…and I also love to bake, eat, laugh, watch reality tv, bowl, play air hockey (beating Cam, of course), listen to 80’s music, shop at Anthropologie, and read home décor books by the fire. I don’t much care for cold rainy winter days, drama queens, or scary movies. I also don’t have patience for folks who don’t like an honest day of work, who are never wrong, and who don’t eat sweets.

I have a very full and satisfying life and I couldn’t ask for anything more. VISIT MY BLOG at www.girlychicboutique.blogspot.com for all of the latest about a day in the life....
